Why there may be a long processing time
Lunar is a popular bank for entrepreneurs and small businesses. This means that we receive a lot of applications, which we are very happy about. However, for you who have just applied for an account, this might mean that you have to wait a bit.
Because we receive so many applications, our processing time can vary a lot, and it is therefore difficult for us to provide an exact processing time. The length of our case processing depends on several factors:
Quality of the application: The better you describe yourself and your business in the application, the easier it is for us when we review the application. The files you upload should be readable, signed, and valid—this helps us make the case processing easier.
The volume of applications we are processing: As mentioned, we receive many applications. Busy periods come and go. Our team works hard to review your application, but as you probably know as an entrepreneur, there are only 24 hours in a day 😉
Dialogue with you: Often, we have some follow-up questions for you after you have submitted your application. Therefore, processing time also depends on how long our back-and-forth dialogue takes.
Can't you give an estimate at all?
As you can read above, it can be challenging to give an estimate. However, we aim to process your application within the time estimate we provide in the app. This estimate starts from the day you have completed everything and uploaded files to us. It’s essential to note that we cannot promise to process your application within the estimate, but it is what we aim for. There will be cases where processing your application takes longer, but there will also be cases where processing your application takes less time.
