Why do I need to upload an Invoice?
Updated over 2 months ago

As a bank, we must account for our customers and the activity that will occur to the authorities. It is a requirement for us as a bank to understand how our potential customers run their businesses, while also being obligated to comply with the Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure according to the law. There are several reasons why we ask you to upload an invoice ๐Ÿ‘‡

Cash Flows

Instead of asking you, the applicant, to submit price lists, we ask you to upload an issued invoice. We do this to understand you and your business and to see what you charge for your services or products. It also helps us to create an expectation of what will happen on the account in the future.

Partners

We also use the uploaded invoice to understand any partnership agreements you may have with other companies. We use it to create a comprehensive picture of your business and to understand it in depth.

Customers

When we request invoices issued to customers, we do so to see what types of customers you have. Here, we are considering whether the customers are business or private customers, or perhaps a mix.

Bank Information

When we collect invoices, we also do so to confirm whether you have conducted your business with another bank before or not.

Can't upload an invoice?

If you cannot upload an invoice that you have sent to a customer, you need to provide documentation in another way that your business is operational or will soon be operational. This could be, for example:

  • A copy of an email correspondence with your customer

  • A written agreement with your customer

  • A partnership agreement

  • A copy of a bank statement where your customer makes a payment (for example, to your private account)

If it is entirely impossible for you to upload anything, just upload an empty document to continue filling out and answering questions. We will then contact you afterwards and try to find a solution.
