As part of the application process, you will be required to provide some documents such as:

  • bank statements

  • invoices

  • collaboration agreements

  • images of your identity documents.

Also, as you know, Lunar is 100% mobile-based, and that means that you will need to send the documents securely to us through the app.

Overall, we could say that there are two kinds of documents: images and files. For the images, you will be asked to take a picture of e.g. your ID card, driver licence, health card or passport, using your smartphone, but for other documents, it can be a bit trickier, especially if you don’t have them on your phone.

But don’t worry, the guide below aims to help you make these documents available from your phone, so that you can easily attach them to your application.

The process usually consists of three steps:

  1. Upload the document to your preferred storage online;

  2. Access the document from your phone;

  3. Attach the document to your application.

Step 1 - Upload the document to your preferred storage online

Below are the links to save documents to some of the most popular online storage providers:

Additionally, on Android you are able to connect your phone and drag & drop documents to your device’s storage. You can find more information here: Transfer files between your computer & Android device

Expert tip! Make sure you save your file as PDF to ensure compatibility with the supported document formats.

Step 2 - Access the document from your phone

Usually the easiest way to make sure your PDF documents are available on your smartphone is to save them to your device’s storage. Here’s how you do it:

iPhone

Android

  1. Find your file on your online storage and open it.

  2. Share to save. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Export to your smartphone. Tap Save to Files.

  4. You can now locate your PDF on your iPhone.

  1. Find your file on your online storage and open it.

  2. Tap on the three dots and select Save As.

  3. Choose the location for saving your file.

  4. You can now locate your PDF on your smartphone.

Step 3 - Attach the document to your application

Once the file is available on your smartphone, you can go back to the Lunar app and, by pressing on the “+” sign, upload the file either from your files or camera in three simple steps:

  1. Choose upload from files

  2. Select the file

  3. Confirm the file
