Updated over 3 weeks ago

Please note that this information only applies with Lunar Business in Denmark.

How can my account go into overdraft?

In Lunar, overdrafts are generally not possible. However, certain exceptions can cause your account to go into overdraft:

  • Insufficient balance to pay for Lunar services: Subscription, Extra accounts, Payment service agreements.

  • If a company reserves an amount on your payment card and cancels the reservation when there is insufficient balance in the account, the account will go into overdraft.

Overdraft on my account

If your account is overdrawn, it must be redeemed as soon as possible to avoid reminders and fees. When you created your account, you signed that you would not go into overdraft and agreed that it is against our conditions.

If you have not redeemed your overdraft in time, you will be sent over to debt collection. This is where all further communication will take place between you and Collectia in the future.
