The Set-up

You can set up the new agreement whilst already paying a bill or by creating a new agreement - both of these actions can be done directly in the Lunar app.

When setting up a new payment service agreement you will need the following information: PBS number, debtor group number, and customer number. You can find all three numbers on the bill. Alternatively, you can reach out to the payee and have them provide you with the information.

  2. Choose Pay Bill.

  3. Choose Type and fill out the reference and creditor number. If you have a QR-code (this can at times be on the bill provided by the payee), you can click on the QR-code icon in the top right corner. This will open you camera and allow you to scan the QR-code on the bill.

  4. Activate this bill as a Payment service agreement by swiping right on the "Betalingsservice" button.

  5. Fill out the boxes with the PBS number, debtor group number, and customer number

  6. Click Continue to complete the payment

  7. The agreement is now requested to be to be created as a payment service agreement. (It can take few days before the registration is complete).

โ—๏ธ If you have a bill with a payment date within the same month you are setting up the agreement, you have to ensure that the agreement is connected to your Lunar account before the bill is due. It can take a few days from when you request to register the payment service agreement in the app, until it is set up. If the registration is not complete within the payment date, you will have to pay the bill manually. Thereafter, the bill will be paid automatically through the payment service agreement the following month.

Good to know

  • It is important to ensure that there is sufficient funds on your account to cover the payment service agreements that are you have set up since your Lunar account is not allowed to be in overdraft. An agreement will automatically be rejected and the funds will be returned to your account, if it is above 1.000 kr. and results in an overdraft. If the payment is rejected, you will have to pay it manually for that month. Lunar takes a fee of 250 kr. for this rejection and return.

  • In the Lunar app it is possible to reject and remove your payment service agreements.

  • You can easily move your payment service agreements from another bank to your Lunar account.

  • If you have multiple accounts and you wish to move only some of your payment service agreements between your own Lunar accounts, then reach out to our customer support and we will happily help you.
