What is an FI payment slip?

An FI payment slip (or FI code) is an electronic payment slip that can be a payment option on your invoices.

In other words, your customers can pay you via their online banking with a payment slip.

This way, you ensure that your customers do not risk forgetting to write the invoice number when making a payment, as it automatically appears in your online banking.

How do I transfer an existing FI payment slip or create a new FI payment slip with Lunar?

You can either transfer an existing FI payment slip from your previous business account or create a completely new FI creditor number and thus an FI payment slip through Lunar.

You just need to reach out to our customer support, either via email, chat, or phone – after which you will need to fill out a form functioning as an application for either the creation or transfer of an existing FI creditor number.

Furthermore, you must double-check all the information you enter to avoid errors. If there are errors in the application, we will reach out to you via email so we can get your FI payment slip created/transferred.

What does it cost to have an FI payment slip with Lunar?

Prices:

Creation of FI creditor number: 1000 DKK

Transfer of existing FI creditor number: 300 DKK

It is free to have an FI payment slip with Lunar after either creation or transfer – whether you are a Simple, Essential, or Limitless customer.

What are the advantages of using an FI payment slip?

The invoice does not change appearance — it just becomes easier.

Your customers will receive an invoice by email exactly as they usually do — the only difference is that the payment details are now an FI code that should be used to make the payment. This is generated automatically, so you don’t have to worry about that either.

The FI payment code can be deactivated on individual invoices.

If you have a customer to whom you do not wish to offer the electronic payment option, this can be deactivated.
