Moving abroad is a big thing — we've compiled a guide to help you navigate the ins and outs of what it all means.


Hidden Address or Name Protection when moving abroad


Please note that this information only applies to Lunar in Denmark.

With Lunar in Sweden, it is not possible to maintain an account if you have a hidden address or name protection.

If the CPR register detects that you have moved abroad, we need to obtain documentation of your new address abroad. This can be the following types of documentation from the given country:

  • An official ID card with name, address and date of issue

  • A public utility bill for e.g. grid, water or electricity — with name, address and date of issue
    Or

  • A rental contract — with name, address, signature date and move-in date.

ATTENTION. The documentation must be a maximum of 2 months old.

If you have moved, there should be a request ready for you in the app at the top of the screen.

In addition to this, we need to know if your tax domicile has changed. Therefore, we need to know:

  • What your tax domicile is

  • What your Tax Identification Number (TIN) or equivalent number is.

TIN: Tax Identification Number can be found by contacting the municipality or region in which you reside.

It is important that we receive the documentation in order to maintain the customer relationship and provide you with the best opportunities with us. Therefore, we need to receive the above within 14 days.

Documentation must always be submitted to us through the request made for you in the app.


Countries

If you as a customer have moved to a country that is a member of the EU/EEA or one of the countries listed below, you must submit documentation for your new address.

  • United Kingdom

  • Switzerland

  • Greenland

  • Faroe Islands

  • Monaco

  • Andorra

If you move to a country that is not EU or EEA, or on the list above, then unfortunately we cannot keep you as a customer. You will receive a cancellation notice with a notice period of 2 months.
