Limits for transfers

  • For a private account, you can transfer a maximum of DKK 200,000 per day. By default, the limit is 50,000 DKK daily for safety reasons, but you are able to raise this limit in the app.

  • In our detailed price list, you can also get a quick overview of this.

Good to know:

  • At Lunar, all transfers to other Danish banks are immediate transfers.

  • If you need to make a larger transfer, we recommend splitting the transfer into multiple transfers over several days, as agreed upon with the recipient.

  • If this isn't possible, please contact the support in the app, and they will see if it's possible to help with the transfer.

  • It's not possible for you to transfer more money than is available in your account.

  • This would cause your account to go into overdraft, which is not permitted by Lunar.

Fees

Fees on transfers to other Danish banks

  • Light

If you have the "Light" subscription, you'll experience a fee of 3 DKK per outgoing transfer from your account.

  • Standard, Plus, Unlimited:

Fees on transfers to and from other countries

  • International transfers rely on a complex infrastructure involving multiple parts behind the scenes. That's why, unfortunately, we can't offer international transfers completely free of charge.

  • Depending on the currency used, international transfers can follow several different processes through Lunar.
