If you want to close your relationship with us, we will assist you in doing so. You simply need to inform us that you wish to terminate your engagement with Lunar. The confirmation should be written and can be given through the chat function in the Lunar app or by sending us an email.

Send a message to us from your Lunar app. Press on your profile icon in the upper left corner, followed by "Help and Support" and "Message." Once we have received your message, we can assist you in closing your account.

The first step is to check off a few points

  • Release all reservations on the account.

  • Move your Nemkonto and BS-agreements.

  • Sell your holdings if you use Lunar Block.

  • Transfer your holdings from your Lunar account.

  • Ensure you have canceled subscriptions if you have Standard, Plus, or Unlimited.

Do you have the Light plan, 0 DKK/SEK/NOK in balance, and no crypto on Lunar Block? In that case, we can easily close your account!

If you have a subscription, including Standard, Plus, or Unlimited, or have extra accounts, you must cancel this in the app first. Please note that the notice period is the current month. It is important to ensure that there are sufficient funds to pay for the subscription during the notice period.

How long does it take before my account is closed?

Once everything is in order regarding the closure of your account, your account will be terminated. We aim to close your account within 14 business days. You will receive a confirmation of the closure once it has been completed.

Can I create an account with Lunar again?

You are more than welcome to apply for a Lunar account again at a later time. Simply follow the application process in the Lunar app, and you will typically receive a response within a few days.

Does Lunar retain my information after my account is closed?

We retain information about you for as long as the regulations we are subject to require it, or as long as the information is necessary for the purposes for which we have collected and processed it.
