The details in your application may have been updated over time, so we might request you to review and confirm the provided information.

If this is the case, you will receive a message from us in the app. To upload documentation, you will receive a notification enabling you to easily update the details by tapping the request at the top of your Lunar home screen.

Why do we request documentation?

As a bank, we have an obligation to understand how our accounts and products are intended to be used. This is due to our regulatory requirements, including obligations under credit regulations, general terms, and anti-money laundering laws that mandate a high level of customer knowledge. This may involve asking about general behavior, specific transactions, or requesting documentation. If we ask questions or request documents, it is simply because we need to achieve a comprehensive understanding of our customers.

What you may need to specify

You would first have to take another look at your personal information. This includes your citizenship, tax liability, and your name and address.

The way you are using the app and your account may have changed since your application. We would like to keep your intended use up to date, which is why you are asked to reconsider this.

We may request your latest tax returns, payslips, and possibly even the latest bank statement from your other bank.

🇩🇰 Additionally, for you with a Danish account

Normally you would have to send your latest tax returns, payslips and maybe even latest bank statement from your other bank. We have made this much simpler. By confirming using MitID, you will be able to share your tax information, and we can do all of the above automatically.
