If you are experiencing technical issues with MitID when trying to log into or making transfers through the Lunar app, it's good to know what you can try to do to resolve the issue.

Depending on whether your phone is an iPhone or an Android, there are different actions you can take.

Below you will see 2 specific guides that you should consider, when trying to resolve MitID issue.

If you have an iPhone/iPad, you should do the following:

  1. Go to your phones "Settings" ➡️ Tap on "Safari" ➡️ Find the button "Block all cookies" ➡️ Make sure this is disabled (This is disabled when the button turns white)

  2. Go to "Settings"➡️ Tap on "Safari" ➡️ Find the text "Clear History and Website Data" and tap on it.'

Now try logging into your Lunar app.

If it still doesn't work, you should try the following:

Go to "Settings" ➡️ Scroll down, and tap on "Safari" ➡️ Find the button "Prevent cross-site tracking"➡️ Try disabling this (enable it again afterwards if it makes no changes)

Go to "Settings"➡️ Tap on "Safari" ➡️ Find the text "Clear History and Website Data" and tap on it.

If you have an Android, you should do the following:

  1. If "Power Save Mode" is turned on for your phone, turn this off and try logging into your Lunar app.

  2. Check if you have incognito mode enabled on your phone in your settings. If so, it's worth trying to turn it off and then log into the Lunar app.

  3. Make sure you are using Chrome as your default browser. We do NOT support browsers such as Samsung Internet Browser.

  4. If MitID login appears in a very small box, it is often because the browser view is set to "Desktop Mode". When you are on the "small box" screen, tap the three dots at the top right and ensure that "Desktop site" is disabled (This is disabled when the check mark is gone).

General troubleshooting regardless of type of phone:

  1. Be aware if your MitID works with other providers. Check if you can log in to e.g. E-box. If you cannot use MitID elsewhere, you should contact MitID, so they can help you solve the problem.

  2. Make sure you have the latest update of your phone's operating system. If you don't know how to do this, you can get help by clicking HERE.

  3. Try disabling WiFi and try using the 4G or 5G network instead.

  4. Is VPN enabled on your phone? If so, it's worth trying to turn it off and then log into the Lunar app.
